Ansar Allah Denies Claim of Attack on Makkah, Calls Allegation False

Mohammed al-Farah, a member of Yemen’s Ansar Allah political bureau, has strongly denied claims that the Yemeni military targeted Makkah, describing the allegations as baseless and completely false. He said the Yemeni people are highly sensitive to the protection of Islamic holy sites.

Hawzah News Agency- Mohammed al-Farah said Riyadh was using what he described as false pretexts to divert attention from its internal failures and crises and to seek sympathy and support from the international community, particularly Muslims. He described Saudi Arabia’s current situation as a genuine crisis and said the Saudi government was attempting to conceal what he called structural problems by creating tensions.

The Ansar Allah leader said that, in his view, the only way to end the crisis was to halt aggression, lift the blockade, fully withdraw from Yemen and address the consequences of the war. He warned that continuing the current policy and seeking outside support would prove futile and said those who escalate tensions would be responsible for the consequences. He further argued that the approach could expose Saudi Arabia’s national security, critical infrastructure and oil facilities to greater risks.

Meanwhile, Hazem al-Assad, another senior member of Ansar Allah’s political bureau, also rejected Saudi claims that Makkah had been targeted, describing them as a repeated allegation previously used by Saudi Arabia for what he called political purposes.
